Great rooms, amazing place. The rooms were big and tastefully decorated, comfortable and I had a lovely rest. A small walk and you are at the beach where you can gaze at the magnificence of Table Mountain or the history of Robben Island.

Everything was perfect. The room is really very well placed. It is cozy and the property is very well maintained. We can do everything on foot. The beach is right next door, as well as all the restaurants. Wilma our host is really very nice. We loved it so much that we will book a next stay at Small Bay Guest House.

Excellent. We stayed in the orange room. The room is spacious and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. Location was perfect and safe. Even though you couldn’t see the sea, it’s near enough that the sound of the waves can lull you to sleep. Wilma was an excellent host, warm and friendly. Will definitely recommend!!

Location Location Location. A stone’s throw from the beach, next door to the classic Blue Peter Hotel and Ons Huisie restaurant, and a few minutes walk to Eden on the Bay with its restaurants and shops. Clean and comfortable room, really nice big bathroom. Great value for money.

December stay at small bay. The location couldn’t be better, right on seafront. we enjoyed the coffee shops, walks and there are plenty restaurants if you require same. The guesthouse is situated in a quiet cul de sac so it was peaceful.

Great convenient location

At short notice i made a booking and everything was simple and easy adn i thought good value – Wilma was helpful and even accommodated me for a third night after i had checked out and then had to come back. thank you

Favourite place in CPT

Small Bay really is a hidden gem. It’s probably my all-time favourite place to stay when I go to Cape Town. It has a gorgeous location, close to everything convenient, and Wilma is really wonderful and accommodating. Never mind the official star rating system, this guest house is an honourary 5 star!

SMALL BAY

Awesome place to stay, very close to the sea and restaurants. Everything you need is in walking distance from Small Bay. Beds are very comfortable, clean sheets. All in all a really nice place to stay.

Great place to stay

Small Bay is an excellent self-catering accommodation in the beautiful area of Blouberg Strand, just 50m from the beach… The rooms are spacious and comfortable with DSTV. The garden is private and quiet with lots of sun. There is complementary coffee, tea and rusks which add to the enjoyable stay. There is also adequate parking for the duration of your stay. The host, Wilma, was very friendly and accommodating. The venue is within walking distance to a great selection of restaurants, shops and amenities. The views are amazing along the beach and I would highly recommend if you haven’t stayed there before!

This is a cozy place with a very friendly host. Its quiet, clean and extremely refreshing. A very short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants as well as a grocery store. The sunset and sunrise is to die for. Loved it

Short stay at Small Bay

Perfect for what I was looking for. Wilma was welcoming and the unit had everything one needs to be comfortable. safe, secure and the location is just stunning. the room was clean, the bed comfy and I will definitely be back.

Baie skoon en netjies. ‘n Paar treë van die see af en Wilma is ‘n fantastiese gasvrou. Kan 100% aanbeveel.

Baie na aan die see, ons het koffie gemaak wat aan ons voorsien was, en ‘n paar treë gestap met ons koffiebekers en die koffie reg by die see geniet. Ongelooflike ervaring. Vir die feit dat dit so na aan die see was was die prys baie redelik. Beddegoed ens. was spierwit en skoon. Ons het heerlik daar gebly en Wilma was die vriendelikste persoon ooit.

Very pleasant stay. I was welcomed warmly. The room was great, clean and even had a backup light on charge with a list of load-shedding times. Wilma was wonderful and welcoming. Had a great stay and will definitely consider Small Bay again. Thank you.

Home from Home

Nice and clean with the best location in Bloubergstrand. The owner is friendly and very helpful. The two units are in a short quite street next to Blue Peter Hotel for the best view of the sunset over Robben Island.

A week in paradise. We had such an amazing experience. The distance to the beach makes it so easy to access. Wilma is amazing and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is happy. We will recommend this to everyone.

The place is amazing! It is very clean, sunny and quiet. The ocean is literally just around the corner. The area is very safe, with shop and famous restaurants Moyo and The Blue Peter within a short walking distance. There is also a public bus service to the city, which is safe and relatively cheap.
